Movie Poster Promo

The main character all of you are going to see is Sir Victor. He is the main character because he is going to be the star or the main light of our movie poster. Sir Victor is looks like his flying although its just him looking evil and ready to strike. 

My title is very beautiful, with a fish eye look, outer glow, drop shadow, and of course, the sparkling font. When you see it, it really looks like Sir Victor's dream font. My teams name's are going to be on the poster with some keywords. If you like a font that looks so fancy and beautiful, although the spacing is really close you need to use kerning. Kerning is used to give fonts space if their really close together. We use kerning to make our fonts look like what we want it to be.

The overall impact on my poster, like the filters, effects, and layers gives my poster the "dreamy look." It looks fabulous and amazing, I did expect my poster to be this nice. The words are popping out, images looking amazing, drop shadow making the font look nice and dreamy, and the fish eye look, the best on of all. This look would make you think that the words are circling around the poster, you feel like its going to take you in and you'll experience the joy. The joy that's going to make you feel that you already know the movie trailer, how its going to go and how its going to feel.

Proactive or Procrastination?

I suppose that I'm a proactive person because I have and I get good grades. I use my time wisely and I use every second to do my work. When I have free time I study but sometimes I play. My free time gives me a lot of time to think, play, and be who I am. Even though I play I still learn while playing, it bothers me when I don't get my work done. That's why I'm a proactive person, never do I have thought of being a procrastinator. (Although sometimes I do.)


When I get home I watch television for like 1 hour then I do my homework. After that I go to my Ipad and do work on the internet like my blog, movie trailer, and my Yearbook Plan. If I'm done with all my homework I play, watch, and play again. I do get A's on my classes, and yes I know that I should focus on my studies and let the playing on the side. I do maintain a healthy way of living, using time wisely, and I know when to do my work and when I can play around.

What I would change about my work habits are going to be listed: Don't play around, do something when I'm done with all my work, something that doesn't distract me and don't go off task. These three things are the things I mostly do. I need to change that to be a proper proactive person. Sometimes I have trouble to not do these things, and yes it does bother me. I can't stop myself from doing these things, but if I try would probably achieve my goal to not even try or do the top three things.

My Visual Poem

My Visual Poem is about my surroundings or nature. I picked nature because its very important to us, without it how are we suppose to live. Also, I wanted people to really look at what we have and tell them that nature is the only thing that we need. This is how we built up all the things we have today. I wanted to show that I love nature and share my surroundings with all of you. The Visual makes an impact by showing what we have, all the important things that we need.

I didn't really add any effects expect for the transitions. It don't think that it changed any color, mood, and lighting to it. If you see any change then I'm probably blind. Although, the transition and my titles does effect my video because it has this good camouflage and the transition is smooth. I like that does transition existed.

We never critiqued ours yet so there are no results. All i'm hoping for is a 4, and yes that's a high score that I want, but it's not bad to dream right. Next week we will critique our poems and we will critique it on our own blogs. I'm just hoping for the best.

Finished News Story

Our story was about Healthy Living, Maddie, Jhoanna, and Denae were my teammates. Maddie was our team leader, although she needed to go somewhere so I became a leader. The people who contributed was Heidi Tokuda, Josh Nations, and  Jhoanna was the person who filmed. Denae was the editor and at the I kind of did both jobs. We liked our jobs what because it fits us. It was hard that our seventh grade leader went off and we six graders was working on it by ourself.

Our final turned out good, but not good enough. Me and my teammates were kinda sad and frustrated that we didn't do well. At least Mr. Sanderl said he liked it, I felt much better. We could've done better but we did what we can so thats good enough for me. For me, I want to learn very hard to improve next year on my skills.

Here is our critique results. To be honest I was the only person who voted for our team, (my teammates thought it was bad so they didn't vote for our project no offense teammates.) I agree with this poll, even though we didn't get featured on Hiki No. We can learn from our mistakes and turn them around to make them right. This project was our first project we did, we have more projects to come and I think I know what im doing now. We were just working on a new project called "Visual Poem" this requires us to use Final Cut Pro like what we used to make our Hiki No project. We had 1 week to finish it, and I successesfully did it. This has been a fun blog to make, thinking of all the hard times we had and how we solved it.

Real World Report

Real World: On Wednesday morning, India has completely made its satellite MOM orbit Mars. This has been the biggest accomplishment of all times because India was the first country that completed its mission in one attempt. A great milestone that represents the space program. This shows that India can conduct complex priority and accomplish it. 23 out of 41 unknown missions have failed this.

India's spacecraft cost $75 million which was paid off from the success. They built MOM with their own homegrown technology. About three more spacecrafts are studying Mars' surface and other things that are unknown and probably will reveal soon.

For at least six months MOM will orbit Mars to collect enough data to bring back with its 5 solar-powered instrument. One about Mars' weather pattern and another one identifying if water really existed on Mars. Scientists wants to know if the red planet can provide life or if it use to.

We need to care about it because it will be Mars' history. Accomplishing this is such a big news, if all this goes well this day will remain in our lives.

Lessons Learned

The most interesting part about our project is that we are going to help other people be healthy, since we are doing a project about obesity. I always wanted to help people be in the best shape as they can. If I were to pick between this project and another project, I would pick our original one. I have the feeling that we will do great on this topic.

The biggest roadblock that we gone through was deciding who is going to do the voice-over, who is going to write, who is going to edit, and more. We don't really have the choice to not do anything so we voted who's going to do which. We help our teammates on what their assigned to do. We sometimes get stuck on mud, but we figure things out with our by helping each other.

The most valuable part about this project is that we can and we will help people be in shape for the rest of their life. I always wanted to help people, its not that I feel bad its just that we humans have the right to give others all we've got to help them out. Since we got the right teammates that will help out whenever needed we get work done easily and smoothly.

Hiki No Behind The Scene

For Hiki No we are doing a project about obesity. We film really well but sometimes its horrible. We are doing great on our films. Also we have been traveling all around to meet our  interviewee.The idea of this project was to show people how to be fit and be healthy. We want Hawaii to have good health rates and good examples for more people.

When the camera isn't rolling we are trying to think of questions to ask our interviewee. We also call our interviewee to get a schedule when we can meet up with them. We usually pair up so that we can work on other things. We have multiple choice to work on the questions or our research documents. Although we get stuck on mud sometimes but we figure out how to work things out.

I can help my team by getting ready with the questions, voice-overs, and setting up the cameras. I am doing the voice-over, so I need to write the things I am going to say to make everything perfect. We do help each other on their job because sometimes we don't get work done easily by our own. Also we get to choose what part we want to do in the Hiki No project. It's great that we work together and we use our time wisely, we get to know each other everyday.

Back To School

My favorite moment in Kapa'a Middle School is that when I got there, there was so much people from different schools and more people to be friends with. My biggest challenge was finding my class and catching up with things that we didn't learn on the previous year. I will do my best, give my all, and be what I am to be successful.

The Expirement

The Photoshop Experiment is about the students trying to figure out how to use Photoshop. The right thing about this experiment is that we get to learn about a lot of things that we didn't know about and it is educational for computer users. The wrong thing about this is that the students might have no idea what there are doing and they might break the computer or do something bad to it.
